I had not heard of ketamine treatments before this and was skeptical but I have to say it was incredible as a form of treatment. and if anyone is curious about it they are happy to answer questions.

To anyone who is considering this, I highly highly recommend KCLA. They know what they're doing, and they know how to help. I cannot say enough good things about them. They really are doing amazing things here. This is something that is very promising for many people.

I never met Dr mandel but towards the end of my sessions I did speak a bit with the Physician's Assistant- he was supportive, knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, (like all the staff), but he really helped me with insights about what the treatment Ketamine can provide. I'm happy this place exists and I hope to continue with them. Anyone who thinks this could help them and wants to give it a try, should consider this clinic. And the nurses were great too.

During the infusions themselves, I experienced several episodes of crying and the entire team was very nurturing. William, the patient care coordinator, took extra care to address all of my logistical concerns and help me navigate the entire process. Kim, Conor, Edith, Victoria, Denisse, Dr. Mandel, Camila, and Juleny are a few of the great individuals who attended to my needs and were kind and courteous.  As someone who is familiar with working in healthcare, the individuals at Ketamine Clinics Los Angeles are some of the most professional and considerate human beings I've ever come across. With the amazing results of ketamine along with the absolutely wonderful caring staff, they helped me back from the brink, especially as no other type of anti depressant has helped.
A few years later my mother, who I was very close to developed dementia and I basically lost my mother without actually physically losing her. I had to have the full treatment and it really helped deal with the depression of losing my mother mentally. Twenty something years ago , I went through ECT more times than I can remember, that of course destroyed so much of memory. Yet I was still depressed. I truly wish ketamine had been available 20+ years ago. If it had, my life would be so different. Everyone a LA ketamine clinics are awesome. They also keep up on how you are doing by an app that asked you how you are feeling based on a 1 to 10 score and if you start slipping into the low numbers, they contact you to see if you are ok or not. They truly care and some of the staff has experienced depression themselves and can truly understand how you feel.
I just wish they weren't so far away from where I live. Other than that they are the best!

Read More been on strong psych meds since I was 11 years old and was extremely medicated until I was about 20 years old. I was originally diagnosed with depression, anxiety, OCD and insomnia then over the years my memory started to fade and my grades dropped due to my short term memory loss and my mental health kept on declining. Years of every type of therapy out there, so many medication cocktails and withdrawals from switching medications and I really tried everything. This was the only thing to give me any type of relief. So far I've gone down on one of my meds from 40mg to 10mg which I NEVER thought I could do down without spiraling. The staff is so kind and warm hearted from the doctor, to the nurses to the people answering the phones. The waiting room itself gives off a different vibe of tranquility; you can feel it just stepping in the room from the hallway. They give you pillows and blankets and make you as relaxed, secure and comfortable. Yeah, it's expensive, but it's so worth, especially if you're legitimately suffering. Thank you for giving me hope back that I didn't even know I had or could muster  absolute life saver. The people giving it one star are absolute liars; I was screaming at the top of my lungs during one session and they just sat with me and gave me a dose of lorazepam; no one snapped or ridiculed me. And you automatically have to pay for 6 sessions, so stopping after 3 sessions is just as expensive as doing 6. So those reviewers are either liars or dangerously delusional people.
